Why travel matters - by Barack Obama
Last month, the World Travel & Tourism Council Global Summit took place in Seville, Spain. Former US President, Barack Obama, spoke at a Q&A session, and the BBC recorded his responses. These ranged from the importance of travel (especially for young people), to climate change, technology and global politics as they affect travel.
We thought it was a particularly interesting view of travel, and so wanted to share it. As many of us are in the middle of peak season, it is a timely reminder of the importance of what we do. You can read the article here.
