Homesickness on student tours...
Our Global Business Development Manager, Shannan Carter, knows a thing or two about student tours. She's organised tours for thousands of students all over the world and has presented at pre-trip student/parent meetings more times than she cares to remember!
As a SYTA Past President, she was asked to write an article last month for the SYTA website about the impact of travel on students.
She decided to write about a little-discussed issue - that of homesickness for the students on the trip, and how parents at home can help with this.
