The London International Music Festival - London's annual youth music festival
The London International Music Festival is a uniquely inspired, annual, four-day performing arts event, including adjudicated concerts, masterclasses with world-class experts and formal performances across London. Taking place in July each year, it is open to amateur ensembles of all musical and performing arts disciplines, including choral, instrumental ensembles and dance groups. UPCOMING DATES ARE 13-16 JULY 2020 and 12-15 JULY 2021.
Our festival ethos...
Our aim is to offer young musicians from around the world: an international musical experience of world-class quality at an accessible price; a chance to experience London, one of the greatest cultural cities in the world; opportunities to interact with other young people from all over the world in a supportive and non-competitive environment; a number of events to develop their musicality in a way that isn't possible at home; a connection with music from other cultures and different styles; and a platform to develop their "world education".
